As we move through the summer and into the fall, we’ve got many updates to make sure you’re prepared and ready. First things first, check out the opening checklist to make sure your Roompact environment is ready to go:

We’ve got a number of LARGE updates being released for the fall. (As well as a few more minor enhancements and improvements.) The highlights:
- Calendar & Tasks is partially released. Calendar is fully functional. Tasks will come later this fall.
- Wolfie AI Timeline summaries are now available. Make sure they’re turned on in Organization Settings.
- Staff Selection will release this Fall! (Get a preview)
🧑🏫 Software Training Opportunities 🧑🏫
Every September we offer a virtual training for new staff or for staff just needing a refresher on Roompact basics. Join us for the live training:

Time: 2:00pm-4:30pm, Eastern
Location: Online via Zoom
To participate, pre-register at the link below and you will be sent the training link approximately 24 hours in advance of the training. A link to the recording will be made available on this same page on Roompact’s support portal.
📚 RA360: Resources for Student Staff 📚
Our ACUHO-I Intern, Venus, has made a TON of updates to our “open source online textbook for RAs.” RA360.org is a page that pulls together 42 resources pages covering topics, competencies, and skills to help your student staff. If you haven’t checked it out recently, you’ll notice it is not much more robust. We’ll continue to refine and enhance this over time.
✂️ RA Door Dec Competition ✂️
Roompact is holding its eighth annual door dec contest! This contest is open to student staff (RAs, CAs, etc.) at schools who currently use Roompact’s software on their campus. The door decs must be sent by September 30th at 11:59pm local time to be considered.
The team at Roompact will judge all submissions and choose ten winners. We will publish a post announcing the winners and highlighting all of your amazing entries. Each Top 10 Winner will receive a $50 gift card.

🐭 The R2 Conference 🐭
We’re putting this out there early, but Roompact will be hosting its first multi-day user’s conference in 2026! The R2 Conference is an exclusive experience for Roompact schools that provides a dynamic mix of sessions focusing on high impact practices within residence life and education and how to leverage Roompact’s software, resources, and services to the fullest effect.
