Introducing our Podcast Hosts in 2025

We’d like to introduce the newest additions to our podcast host team!

Roompact’s ResEd Chat podcast produces new episodes weekly focusing on topics of interest to residence life and college student housing professionals. We’re excited to grow the team and bring in new perspectives and guests. Below you can learn a little more about the new hosts that will be join gin our current hosts (Dustin and Crystal) in sharing their talents with you in the coming years. We’ve already got some really interesting and exciting pieces planned.


Anthony Martinez

Anthony Martinez (he/him) serves as a Complex Coordinator at the University of Texas at Austin. Originally from Nevada, he earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), where he triple-majored in Political Science, International Affairs, and Spanish. While at UNR, Anthony was actively involved in campus life, serving as a Resident Assistant and Student Body President. He later pursued higher education at Texas Tech University (TTU), where he earned two master’s degrees—one in Public Administration (MPA) and another in Business Administration (MBA)—while working full-time as a Graduate Assistant in Housing. Outside of work, Anthony enjoys traveling, engaging in professional development, playing recreational sports, discussing stocks, and spending quality time with his dog, Luca.

Noah Montague

Noah Montague (he/him/his) has been working in Residence Life for the last 8 years where he began his journey as a Resident Assistant in 2017. Noah has completed an undergraduate degree in English Literature & Creative Writing from Stony Brook University & a Masters Degree in Student Affairs & Higher Education from Miami University. Noah is passionate about storytelling, leadership development, equity work, and student support. Noah also enjoys spending time with friends, reading, writing, and going on walks with his Dog, Peace. 

Jasmine Nettles

Jasmine Nettles (she/her) is currently the Associate Director for Residential Curriculum and Living Learning Communities at Eastern Kentucky University. Originally from Flint, Michigan, Jasmine graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science in Technical & Professional Communications and Creative Writing in 2017. In 2020, she graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with her Master of Science in College Student Personnel Administration. Her professional background includes time spent in several functional areas of higher education, but her primary focus has always been academic retention within Housing & Residence Life. She credits herself as a DC and Marvel comics fandom and Disney connoisseur, regularly volunteers at her local Opera House as an usher, and spends every minute she can at home with her 4-year-old Dachshund, Stone Marie. 


Crystal-Lay

Crystal Lay (she/her) is a Residence Life professional with over 18 years of experience in Higher Education. Her professional interests include diversity and equity, retention of staff of color, and creating a sense of belonging for students. She enjoys learning, reading, cooking, and spending time with family.

Dustin Ramsdell

Dustin Ramsdell (he/him) is a higher ed content creator who focuses on modern solutions that drive student engagement and success. He hosts The Higher Ed Geek Podcast in addition to ResEdChat and also serves as a Client Success Manager at Direct Development, a digital marketing agency that supports higher education institutions.
