Roompact’s door dec competition is now closed and we’re ready to announce the winners. We received 110+ entries (!), so picking ten was incredibly difficult. We tried to select a diverse group of winners that reflected the diversity of the submissions themselves.
Thank you to all who entered! Your ideas are now a resource for future RAs to use for inspiration.
Access our resource page for more ideas and examples of staff-created door decs and bulletin boards.
This is my floor’s door decs: FIFA players in Bridgerton gowns. Our hall’s theme is Bridgerton so what better way than to celebrate the end of this amazing soccer season than with our most favorite players decked out in the season’s most fashionable gowns.

My hall is Coraline themed, so I made 5 variations of the door decs, with the other world characters featuring real button eyes!

My door decs are inspired by one of my favorite Cartoon Network, Adventure Time! I made some doors decs for my coworkers and professional staff. My residents received the 5 door decs with Finn the Human, Jake the Dog, Ice King, Peppermint Butler, Gunter, Lord Monochromicorn.

The theme was Hollywood and I made Hollywood Walk of Fame stars for my door decs. I used black glitter cardstock as the background, printed out the stars, and then glued them onto the cardstock. The residents’ names were in the star, like how the celebrities have them in Hollywood. There were five versions of these door decs: TV, movies, radio, theater, and music. The one I am sending you is the one for movies.I chose this theme because my residents are all stars to me 🙂
