We appreciate you!
As your campuses have been thrown into chaos responding to COVID-19, we know that your lives have also been thrown into chaos. The work you do is important, but YOU are also important. Your Roompact Advisory team and all of us at Roompact want to let you know we are here for you. In many ways, we see you as “our residents” and we’re here to support you.
COVID-19 + Roompact Resources
As many campuses made the transition to online classes, at Roompact, we are witnessing first-hand how our software has become more critical than ever. Additionally, many of our clients are using Roompact’s features and solutions in new and novel ways. Curious about how Roompact can support your work? Learn more from this blog post.
Software Update: Term Rollovers
Roompact will be releasing a software update in May that will change the way our software handles data when there is a change in academic term.
Rather than archiving each term and creating a new term, the data in Roompact will now be treated as one continuous timeline. As a user, many of these changes will be invisible to you, but you will soon notice a new feature that allows you to “jump back in time” to see your campus data as it was on a specific date.
To find out more about these changes, check out our FAQ.
New Ace Guides and Cases
New Ace Guides and Ace Cases are now available to you in the support resources available to you on Discuss. New topics include:
Ace Guide: Duty Reports
Provides advice on how to use Roompact software features for staff members in an on-call or duty rotation.
Ace Case: Tracking Roommate Conflicts with Forms
The following Ace Case outlines how you can gain insights into roommate conflicts through the design of a Form and a complementary process for your staff. This case works alongside other Roompact software features like Agreements and Room Statuses to better track and manage roommate conflict and provide you with further insights.
Ace Case: Building and Maintaining Digital Community Connections
Provides advice on how to use Roompact software features for building community digitally while your residents may be physically dispersed.

A NEW Fourth Edition of the book “Developing a Co-Curricular Learning Model: Residential Curriculum and Curricular Approaches in Student Affairs Work,” is now released and available as a free download from our website.
This new edition includes expanded content, more visual elements, and has been re-designed into an 8.5 x 11 format for easy printing.
Save the date…
We are still planning for an in-person Roompact Users Conference immediately prior to ACPA’s Institute on the Curricular Approach at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel on Sunday, October 11 in Baltimore. More details about registration will be coming this summer.
