The Roompact Recap for Fall 2019

Ending a Summer of Change!

Roompact underwent a number of changes this summer that provided some new opportunities as well as some challenges. Some of you may not have even noticed, but we know that we didn’t hit our high expectations with all of you. Thank you to those of you who gave feedback and grace. We continue to strive to exceed your expectations.

The summer kicked off with our moving to a new office space! We’re still in Chicago, but a few blocks north of our old office, and now with more room to grow. If you want to see more, check it out.

We released an updated Roommate Agreements module. For those of you familiar with our prior module, it was one of Roompact’s first and oldest designed features. In desperate need of an upgrade, we are now happy to report that this feature matches the ease of use and interface design you’ve come to expect from Roompact. Find out more below.

Finally, we had some staff transition in the office. Paul Brown is making a slight transition in the company, moving to oversee the entire client experience and the training and support we provide you. And, just as Megan Armstrong joined our team, Ann Trachte departed for new opportunities. Paul and Megan will be your main points of contact for the services you used to rely on Ann for.

NEW FEATURES

Roommate Agreement Animated GIFRoommate agreements received a major overhaul this summer. It includes all of the features you’ve already relied on, but it is now designed in a more modern style similar to what you’ve come to expect in our other features. The tech team continues to make some refinements and tweaks to the interface, so expect more improvements to come.

If you want to know more about the redesigned module, check out our new support documentation for this feature in Discuss.

TIPS FOR SUCCESS

Take a deep breath and pat yourself on the back, another successful move-in season is in the books! Now that residents are settling in and RAs are getting in the groove, it’s a great time to think about how Roompact can help you achieve departmental goals for the school year. Wondering about best practices for creating and tracking Intentional Conversations? Want desk assistants to have access to Roompact but not sure how to start? If you are a Roompact veteran, maybe you want to talk through what your current Roompact processes are and how we might be able to tweak and tailor them to meet your specific needs. That’s where we come in! Paul and I are always happy to hop on a call to figure out the best option for your unique communities. Ask some questions or schedule a call with us!
