What do you love about working at Roompact?
I have had the opportunity to work at Roompact as an intern before starting full-time, and this time spent with the company made it clear that it was where I wanted to be. When I first started thinking about what kind of company I wanted to work for, Roompact checked all of the boxes. Not only does it have a great culture where its employees are appreciated every step of the way, but the team is what anyone could ever want as well. Even as an intern, they put in so much effort to ensure that I was learning and getting the most out of this experience. Therefore, to answer the question, I love everything about working for Roompact. From the culture to the team itself, it is everything anyone could want from a company.
How did you get into business development?
In all honesty, Business Development found me. I have always seen myself going into a more marketing-based role. I had the opportunity to have my first internship in Sales and Marketing and went in thinking I was going to only like the marketing side of things. However, it ended up being flipped and I loved the sales side. It brings a whole new aspect to the table by enabling you to reach out to different people and learn things you normally wouldn’t in a more basic marketing role.
What is your favorite college memory?
My favorite college memory was having the opportunity to study in Barcelona, Spain. I chose to study there to improve my Spanish, but the experience turned out to be much more than that. I assimilated into a whole new culture, learned from professors of different cultural backgrounds, and met new people from all over the world. This experience allowed me to grow in a number of different ways and I will forever cherish these memories.
What do you do for fun? Any hobbies?
In my free time, I try to stay as active as possible. I am in a Polish Highlander dance group, which entails having practice every week and performances across the globe. Polish folk dancing has been a passion of mine since third grade. It allows me to embrace my culture while having the opportunity to share it with the world.
